Greetings BTW Alumni and Class of 91! I can't believe that we're creeping up on our 10-year reunion. Are we that old? Needless to say, as your class president, I will need everyone's help, as we will soon begin the adventurous task of attempting to locate our fellow classmates. I'll keep you posted on that though. As for me, I attended college at The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO. I graduated in May of 1995 with a BA in Economics. From there I was a little unsure about the idea of actually getting a "real" job and becoming part of the 9-5 workforce. Attempting to escape adulthood, I moved to Santa Monica, CA and "played" for almost 2 years. I am so thankful for the time off because it allowed me to do things I wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. I went to South Africa for 1 month and traveled the entire country...I'd have to say my highlights were meeting and dining with, then President, Nelson Mandela! It was an incredible experience. Adding to the list of post-college, pre-"real" job travel, are London, Oahu, Santa Barbara, and many trips to San Francisco. I moved back to Tulsa in March of 1998 and prepared for the birth of my beautiful son Jaelon Hugh Woodard!!! Playtime had come to an end. Soon after Jaelon's birth, we moved to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, Irving, TX, to be specific. I accepted a position with Fidelity Investments in their 401k department and obtained my 6 & 63 licenses. I'm still with Fidelity Investments, although I now hold a new position as a Conversion Analyst. Basically, I oversee and carryout all 401k plans transferring to and from Fidelity. Hello all! After graduating from The University of Chicago in Mathematics, Philosophy, and Statistics in 1995, I went to Boston to follow my then-best-friend-now-best-friend-and-wife and to go to work for Price Waterhouse as a management consultant. Tired of making Coke bigger than Pepsi only to go to Pepsi to make it bigger than Coke, I left consulting and went to work for Houghton Mifflin / McDougal Littell as an editor of... (if you know me you guessed it math textbooks. Deciding finally that even a good textbook cannot make up for a poor teacher, I found teaching last year as my calling. My wife and I have moved back to Chicago where she is a lawyer and I am a mathematics and philsophy teacher at The Latin School of Chicago. Current projects include teaching AP Calculus, a PhD program at Nortwestern in the education department, writing childrens' books, singing (I sang with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and am trying out this summer for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra -- did any of you know I sang? Yes, I was even in the Tulsa Boy Singers!), and, in the hopes of my dreams of becoming a rock-'n-roll star, I'm entering the John Lennon Song Writing Contest this August -- this past winter I started learning the guitar. Wish me luck! Neera, if you're out there reading this, my lyrics for my best song are based on a conversation we had: "Follow your bliss!" I never forgot. Lastly, to whomever is organizing this web-site, thanks for the idea and for the space to write.

How exciting to learn where fellow classmates are these days! After Washington, I attended William Jewell College in Liberty, MO (20 minutes from Kansas City). I received a degree in Elem. Ed in May of '95, and taught first grade for one year in Kansas City, MO. I now work at a nonprofit organization called Young Audiences. We are a vehicle for getting the arts into schools in Missouri and Kansas. I love it and I enjoy seeing the kids who benefit from our work. I met my husband, Shane Davolt at college and we were married in November of '96. He was my college crush for four years, the guy I stared at forever in the yearbook. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to write, Booker T. was a special place and it gave me a lot of good memories.

I now live in Albuquerque, New Mexico as a General Manager for seven Subway stores. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1997 with a BS in Geography. Not that I'm using it in any way, shape and/or form...would love to hear from former classmates....it was fun!

After graduating from BTW, I went to OSU and received my degree in Sociology. I worked in Dallas for a while, but am now back in Tulsa working at Child Welfare. In the fall I plan to begin the Master's of Social Work program at OU.

At the time of writing this, I'm living in Kansas City, where my wife Norma and I are expecting a child in August. I am finishing my Masters in Voice Music Performance at The University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory. I've all but hung up the guitar and am devoted to Opera now.

After spending a year in Finland, I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in Spanish. I am currently finishing my Master's in Linguists at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I plan on moving to the Dallas/Fort Worth area to start bilingual elementary education next year. Just a little interesting tid bit: My brother-in-law is Lewis Remington. Yes, he married my sister and they are the proud parents of a baby boy: Garrett Thomas Remington.

After graduation, I served 6 years in the U.S.M.C. I was married to Laura Finley (Sarah's sister) in Oct. 1995 and our son Garrett was born in June 1998. We live in Grand Prairie, TX. I have been a police officer for Irving (between Dallas and Ft. Worth) since 1996.

Glad to see BTW is on the 'Net, and I'm REALLY thrilled to see the number of IB Diploma recipients increasing each year! I graduated in 1991 and went to UCLA. I got a BS in Computer Science and Engineering in December 1995. (And for those of you who remember me, yes, I ran for every student office possible at UCLA, and won a few.) I currently work for IBM in Silicon Valley, doing Web site and internal IBM software work. Go Hornets!

After graduating from Booker T. Washinton, I received B.A. in Classics from Amherst College in Massachusetts. Now a third year M.Div. candidate at Harvard Divinity School, I plan on doing doctoral work in the field of New Testament Studies and History of Christianity.  Many thanks to so many good teachers at Booker T!

I graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1995 with a BA in Orginizational Communication I got married in July and my wife and I are planning to move to Dallas/Ft.Worth and do graduate work. Hers in Dietetics and mine at SouthWestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

I was excited to see on the list of clubs "Hornets in Christ" I would be interested in hearing more about it. I talked to Rodney Watkins and Jajuan Penny, the other day and they said that they are doing well. Rodney is even planning to move to Germany to play Football!! 4 years college football @ the University of Tulsa was about all I could take. well it was interesting getting in touch with you . Hey class of '91!!

Hey all
I know this list isn't visited often it doesn't appear, but I am now living in Atlanta, Georgia. I have three wonderful children ages 9, 10, and 11. I have a bachelor's in Mathematics with a minor in Education. I am also three classes away from a Master's in Actuarial Science at Georgia State University. While finishing these last few classes, I am working as an Actuarial Consultant for Mercer Human Resource Consulting. As an interesting aside, Chris McCarthy who also graduated with us works for our sister company Marsh, two floors above me.
It is great when you can hear what people are doing. I hope to see more in the future.

I'm awfully late joining this board, but boy do I have a funny story about why I didn't make it to the 10-year reunion. I guess I'm late graduating college and late learning how the internet works too.
Been in Portland, OR for 5 years and attended Portland State and Oklahoma State Universities and currently work in a law office by day and perform stand-up and sketch comedy at night. And I also play one of the world's only light-activated oscillating drum machines, seen below:

Hello class of '91. Sorry I missed everyone at the 10th reunion but was busy getting married that weekend. After graduating from BTW, I moved to Chicago and have been here--except for a six-month stint in Germany--for the past 17 years. During that time, I graduated from college; earned an MBA at night school; got hitched; had a kid; and finished a few triathlons, very slowly. With the economy tanking, I had to find a new job. So, we will be packing up our car and moving to Los. Angeles, that is. Swimming pools. Movie stars. My son is excited about living closer to Mickey.
