From previous btwhs.org website alumni section:
Class of 1985 Heather Preston Villa e-mail: mjvilla@excite.com Posted: 9-22-99 Where was everyone at the reunion! I had a great time, but I missed seeing a lot of you. I am living in Scottsdale, Arizona. I moved here in 1987 to start ASU. Graduated 1993 with a degree in Special Education. (5 year plan) I have been teaching in Arizona for 6 years. I love it! I have been married to Mike since 1994 and we have one son, Jackson. He is our sunshine, though our life here is pretty wonderful. I would love to here from anyone who remembers me. Check out the "Reunion Show" on September 30th, TLC. Pretty goofy but anyone who remembers Marta Doughty, Sharon Birbilis and crew will laugh. Love, Heather Sharon Birbilis Hodson e-mail: ehod@burgoyne.com Posted: 8-30-99 Marta Schirloff told me about this web site for BTW alumni so here I am. I graduated in 1985 and went to Kansas University where I majored in Design. I graduated from KU in May of 1989 and was married to Mike Hodson in August 1989. I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where I have lived ever since.I am presently teaching Interior Design at SLCC and raising the two cutest little boys in the world. I have done a 180 from when I was in high school if you knew me and can believe it! Life is still fun though....! Maria Lindahl-Greenfield e-mail: maria@jdmc.org Posted: 8-25-99 Addendum: I am married to Greg Greenfield who graduated BTW in 1984. We have 2 beautiful children and I'm trying to convince him we need another! Hey there! I went straight to OSU after HS. Then had an incredible car accident in Feb of 1987. As a result, I lost both legs. I walk now with prostheses and a lot of extra effort! Anyway, I went on to graduate with a BS degree in Occupational Therapy in 1991. I am now the director of the Occupational therapy department at the JDMcCarty Center for Children with Developmental Disabilities. I love working with kids! I'm looking forward to hearing from some old friends (not that we are old yet!!) = ) David P. Buchanan e-mail: debuke@att.net Posted: 8-5-99 Well... to make a long (and boring) story short: was in military, went to school, got married, had a kid, lived life... am now back in Tulsa where I'll probably stay. I'd give you my web page, but it's... uh, still in transition, yeah, that's it... still in transition (that's my story and I'm sticking to it). Just out of curiosity... did this class meet for reunions while I was away? If not, we should... Marta Doughty Schirloff e-mail: MDoughty@aol.com Posted: 7-31-99 Hello, I have just located the BTW page through my brother Wes and love it. I didn't actually graduate BTW but I did go for 9,10 & 11th grade. I am currently living in Asheboro, NC. Am married to a wonderful guy named Lewis and we are expecting our first child early next year. I graduated college and am currently working as a Paramedic with a county based EMS service. I also teach at the local communtiy college. Any old friends, write me and lets chat. Ramona Hopkins e-mail: PRBabc@aol.com Posted: 7-28-99 No message. Mark Harney e-mail: mharney@home.com Posted: 7-22-99 Woohoo! Happy to see that BTW has a web board. Good to see Wes Doughty's message (class of 84) on the page as well. After graduating, I went on to Tulsa Jr. College for a couple semesters and couldn't get my head in the game, so I quit. After much stalling and deliberation, I graduated in '96 from Oklahoma State University with a BSEE. I met my wife-to-be there, and we married in '96. In the last year of college, I decided that Electrical Engineering was a drag, and started working with computers more than could be considered safe. I now work as a Senior Systems Engineer for MicroAge, a nationwide service and solutions company. I now live in Oklahoma City. My wife is in her 4th year of med school, and will start residency next year. It's likely that we will move out of state, which means that I can set my watch 10 years ahead to get back to the rest of the world's time zones! If you are interested in contacting me, you can email me at mharney@home.com or visit our web site at http://members.home.net/mharney. Hope to hear from some of you out there! Alex Carothers e-mail: flyingfar@aol.com Posted: 7-2-99 I graduated from the Air Force Academy in '89 and went on to pilot training at Vance AFB in Enid. I married Carri in May of 91 and promptly shipped us off for a 3 year tour in Germany, then a 4.5 year tour on the little island of Okinawa, Japan. We currently live near Cambridge England. I am a Senior Air Force pilot with over 3000 flying hours in 13 aircraft. The plane I fly, the MC-130P Combat Shadow, has alot of missions mostly flown at night so I don't see much sunlight during the week. I've kept up with my photography and have been published several times, won numerous photography contests, and have four magazine covers to my credit. I have talked in over 100 different schools and auditoriums across the planet primarily to high school students in an effort foster improved student self esteem and "world sense." (In other words, I stand up and make a fool of myself to try and get young people interested in life after high school) Carri and I worked with a Youth Group in Okinawa that became the Pacific's largest and it changed our lives, not to mention our house, forever. God has a place in the this world for all of us, but he has a special place for our children and doing His work with them even beats flying an airplane. God Bless you all, Eric Kast e-mail: erickast@flash.net Posted: 5-19-99 Have Bachelor's and Master's degree in Journalism/Public Relations from OU. Have been married eight years. Live in Norman, OK. Am Medicare Ombudsman for Oklahoma and Arkansas. I travel around OK & AR educating companies who supply medical equipment to Medicare patients. I work out of my home and answer questions about Medicare coverage issues and claims problems and do workshops around the country to groups of about 300 people. Tina Long e-mail: Ghoft4@aol.com Posted: 5-15-99 Hey everyone! After graduating I went to OSU/TJC for a couple years. My grades weren't too hot so I decided to end my eduaction career. Probably a wise choice as my chosen career (Radio Broadcasting) didn't pay much. Ever since I have been working in the medical field. Either in retail or as an insurance collector for different medical groups here in Tulsa. I bought a house a year ago and am pretty content w/the trials and tribulations of that responsibility! I would love to hear from my 1985 classmates! I hope you all are doing well! Oh, if my name appears twice on this site, sorry. I wanted to change my "comments." Brian Papke e-mail: brianpapke@binus.com Posted: 4-25-99 I didn't technically graduate from BTW, I only attended my frosh year before moving out to California. I have many great memories from that one year and would love to hear from anyone that remembers me. Resha Williams-Davis e-mail: resha_davis@sabre.com Posted: 3-6-99 Hello class of 1985. It is so wonderful to have this web page to find long lost classmates. I am still here in Tulsa loving every minute of it working at The SABRE Group of 12 years as a Systems Technical Analyst. I've been married for almost 5 years to my wonderful husband Bryce and we have a 3 year old son named Chase. Something new about me is that I am now a self-published author of a children's book titled "Raising Responsible Children". It features over 100 positive tips for our children to live by daily. (You must pick up a copy.) You may call me at (918) 583-4348 for a copy or check your local bookstores. It's been so nice to talk to you all. Take care and I will see you all at our 15th class reunion next year. Stay positive! Tony Martin e-mail: tony99585@aol.com Posted: 3-6-99 I graduated from BTW in 1985, then spent 10 years in the Navy before going to college at the University of west Florida where I will graduate in May of 99. I have been accepted to the University of Tulsa's law school and will becomming home in the fall to start classes. I would appreciate any information on our next reunion or just to hear how my fellow Washington alumni members are doing. tony99585@aol.com Allecia Chatman Ratliff e-mail: jluvbrown@yahoo.com c/o arattliff Posted: 12-14-98 (918-584-4108) is my phone number call me for more information, I have a residential care facility in sandsprings and am proud to alumni btw. yea! Allecia Ratliff Michael S. Keller e-mail: msrc@tulsa.oklahoma.net Posted: 1996 Class of 1985. Went from BTW to TJC, graduated there 1988 with AAS in Computer Programming. Went on to TU and graduated 1990 with BSBA MIS. Got married in 1990. Currently work at Paranet, Inc. doing mostly Unix System Administration. Visit me at http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/5602/ Chris Morrison e-mail: chrism7@sky.net Posted: 1996 Let's see... I graduated from BTW in 1985 and hoped to go to Boston University. I actually went to the University of Colorado in Boulder for 3 semesters. It's a beautiful campus and I strongly suggest a visit. Anyway, I spent the next semester out of school in Tulsa, then transferred to Oklahoma State University. I finished my B.A. in Radio-TV in December 1989. While I was at OSU, I was a classical music announcer at KOSU-FM, the public radio station out in that part of the state. What a wonderful experience! I have moved on to bigger things, but I'm not sure they're better. I started grad school to get my M.S. in Mass Communication in 1991 and finished (finally!) in December 1994. I've got to stop graduating in December. While I was in grad school, I continued working at KOSU and also spent five semesters as a graduate teaching assistant -- one semester for the radio production course and four semesters for TV production. Out of the many things, I've experienced in my life, teaching has got to be the most rewarding. Some day I plan to get a doctorate degree and get into academe full-time. After grad school, I spent almost a year as a videotape editor in the newsroom at KOTV, channel 6 in Tulsa. I moved to Kansas City in August, 1995, to start my new job as a tape editor for KSHB, the NBC affiliate here. The work is very busy but very rewarding. It's nice to feel settled in one place with people I like to see and work with every day. The only bad thing about moving is that I had to spend the weekend of my 10 year BTW weekend packing and loading the moving van! I had a chance to go to one of the dinners, but that's it. Bummer. You can e-mail me at chrism7@sky.net. If you're really desperate for something to do, check out my home page at http://www.sky.net/~chrism7. Maria Lindahl-Greenfield e-mail: maria@jdmc.org Posted: 9-1-99 Hi everyone! It was great to find this web site. I have already started chatting with a couple old friends (not that we are "old" yet). I am married with 2 children and live in Norman, OK. I am the director of Occupational Therapy at the JDMcCarty Center for Children with Developmental Disabilities. I am not paralysed if you have heard that. I was hit by a car on the BA in Tulsa in 1987 but am very functional at this time. There's nothing better to get you through any tough situation than a supportive spouse and loving children!!! Peace to all! |

Well lets see after graduation I joined the Navy and spent 9 years on active duty as a Hospital Corpsman serving mostly in the medditeranian, Europe, and middle east!! Once I got out I came back to Tulsa for 3 years before moving to Utah in 1993 to get married.. Presently I'm married (sorta) and have two wonderful kids ages 9 and 7.. I am a full time Firefighter/EMT and a part time Battalion Chief for two different departments. Lots of great memories from school.. And I would love to hear from any of my old classmates or any one that I used to run around with... Take Care, James "doc" Tarpley |

Pretty boring, really. Married John Pittman (class of 1982) and we divorced about 3 years later, but still remain friends. I'm remarried now for almost 5 years and living in a suburb of Daytona Beach, Florida. No kids, just 3 dogs. I do medical transcription from my home and my husband and I scuba dive and ride motorcycles (that's a pic of my bike underneath my name at the left).
Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me. Stacia Cornog (Evanoff) Class of 1985 |

Hey Class of 85. After BTW went on to OSU for 2 1/2 years, then became a deputy sheriff for Tulsa County, did that for 2 years, then went back to OSU in 1991 and got my BS in Sociology in 1993. Been working for as an underwriter for a major insurance company since then. I live in Duluth, GA, a suburb of Atlanta, and am single with no kids. It's been great to read about everyone and what they are up to now. Shoot me an email if you remember me, LMBizzell@aol.com

Hello to everyone!
Wow it was great to see that we have a website. I missed our previous reunions, but I am looking forward to seeing everyone at our 20th. It's hard to believe that almost 20 years have passed since we graced the halls of BTW. I kept busy with school and work during those years. Currently I am back in high school again, but this time not as a student. I am the school nurse at East Central High School. Let me tell you, high school sure is different these days...nothing like when we were in school. I recently got married. I have a 9 year old daughter who is the light of my life, and a 16 year step-son who makes me wish that I had an instruction manual for teenage boys. I also work part-time at Tulsa Regional Medical Center in the dialysis unit. My husband works at Southe Point Cheverolet. It is a busy but happy family. I hope that everyone is doing well and I look forward to hearing from you. You can email me at: FisheKe@tulsaschools.org. Be safe and take care. Kellee Fisher |

Previous reunions? I only knew of one.
I guess it's time to catch up. After HS I worked for a year or so, and tried to go back to school - no drive to do it, so I hosed my classes, and took a few years off to work some more. Around 1989, I went back to school and finally graduated 1994 with a BSEE. Figuring out in 1993 that EE was not my calling, I went into computer networking instead, and did that until August/2002, at which time I did not go back to work until about December 2002, doing home improvements/construction. I'll retire in a couple years and probably just raise the kids. Married 1996, to a girl I met in college in 1991, and we'll be leaving Wichita when she finishes residency here, headed for Charlottesville Virginia for a year. After that is anyone's guess - mostly a matter of where we pick to live. Anyone that knew me back circa 1985 to 1990, yes I am still alive, believe it or not! I'll be interested to hear of reunion plans, I hope they are better organized this time around. Mark Harney mharney@cox.net Mark Harney Class of 85 |

For all those that remember the twins of 85. Yes we're still twins. This is Rob Bauer. I live out in Long Beach, CA. I am married to Kimberley and we have 2 beautiful girls age 10 and 4. I am a 4th grade teacher with an MA in Admin.
Still follow the Sooners and the Hornets. My brother David is out here too. He has two boys and is a physical therapist. I was at a school meeting and one of the third grade teachers happened to hear I was from Tulsa and I found out her husband Jesse Williams went to BTW and grad in 84. Then I was at a district meeting and one of the superintendants said he was a principal at BTW back in the 70's. I graduated from Long Beach State in 91. I was walking out of the library with my brother anf we both turned to look at the same time Terry Tumey, a coach at UCLA at the time, turned and saw us. It is a small, small world. Life is great. Plan to make visit in 2005 but reunion is too early. Good Luck and hope to hear from some of you. |
