AS A 1990 GRADUATE OF BOOKER T. WASHINGTON HIGH SCHOOL, I WANT TO CONGRATULATE THE HORNETS FOR THEIR 43-37 VICTORY OVER THE JENKS TROJANS. YOU GUYS CONTINUE TO KEEP WINNING THOSE FOOTBALL GAMES. I'VE ALWAYS SAID THAT NOTHING STINGS WORSE THAN A HORNET. TAKE STATE.

David, did you play snare with the Funky "D's"? This is Booger Bear class of '92. How are you doing?

Hey Brian, Yes I did. How are you doing man? I'm working for the Jenks Public School system as a Campus Police Officer, and I'm a Tulsa Police Reserve Officer. I'm still hanging with Antonio DelaCerda. He's married and has a daughter. He's doing great. I can tell you that the T-Connection Band doesn't look like it does when we were there. That was the best year during my Senior year. I just hope I did a good job as captain of the drum section. If you want to call me, my number is 955-4634.

Take Care
David

Wassup David,

This is Brian Oliver c/o '87'. Where is Matthew? I was thinking about you guys the other day. Give him my info. Man I would love to talk with him. I'm living in Baton Rouge,La. Married with three boys. I have one that's playing the snare. He will not get the opportunity to be taugt by Elmer L. Davis Jr., but they have some good teachers down this way. You know I'm here with that Southern University Jaguar Land!!!

Hey What's up Brian? Glad to hear you have a son playing the snare drum. It would be nice if he was taught by Mr. Elmer Davis Jr. But you're right they do have some good teachers in Jaguar Land. Hey I was wondering if you could see if Southern University sells videos or DVD's of the marching band at the Bayou Classic, and of their football games. I've always liked watching their field shows. If they do can you tell me how to get the videos, and how much they cost. Thanks in advance. I don't know if anyone has told you, but my brother Matthew passed away back in 2002. He got some type of bacterial infection that could not be stopped with any medication. He's buried at Booker T. Washington Cemetary in Muskogee. Even though it's been 4 years, I still have a hard time with dealing with the fact that he's gone. I know if he was here he would like to hear from you. I saw the T-Connection Band when they played Jenks. They're not as big as it used to be back when we were there, especially my freshman year. The football team did win after 3 overtimes. They won 43 to 37, and they're still undefeated. I work for the Jenks Public School system as a Campus Police Officer, I'm also a Reserve Police Officer for the City of Tulsa. I've been in law enforcement for 8 years now. Well I'm gonna go, but if you can find out about whether Southern University has videos of the marching band that would be great. I think all of us who were at the "T", and in marching band were big fans of the Human Juke Box.

I was so pumped when I heard my Hornets beat Jenks. I get so sick of hearing about Jenks and Union (which in my opinion shouldn't even be a school district).

Does anyone know the price to get into the games? We are thinking of going to homecoming since my husband is a Bartlesville grad, and I can't find anything about pricing. TIA!

Hey Christina, I don't know the price, but I imagine if you call up to Booker T. Washington, and ask for the atheletic department they would be able to tell you.
