I'm Bernadette Ward - I work here in Tulsa for the US Dept of Energy (specifically in Oil & Gas Research & Development)
Each year we host the Oklahoma Regional Science Bowl - (a high school science competition similar to academic bowl. We take the winning teams from small and large school divisions to the National competition in DC in late April.
We need volunteers to keep time and score in each of the competition rooms
If they can add 4 + 10, or operate a stop watch - we need them
Volunteers can work 2, 4, 6 or 8 hour shifts.
Competition is Feb 21 - at OSU Tulsa campus
We'll be glad to sign community hour validation forms.
Volunteers get breakfast snacks, lunch and a T-shirt.
If you have any volunteers - Student, Faculty or friends
Please let us know.
For more detailed information contact Susan Jackson 699-2012 or myself 699-2033
Thanks for any assistance
