I was recently in Tulsa and wanted to show my son Booker T. Well, first I got lost on Peoria and could not find the street to turn on, therefore I followed the posted sign to Booker T. Washington High School. Which took me down Apache and then by the Funeral Home to the "new" school. Don't get me wrong this school is state of the art back in the old student parking lot that use to be gravel--remember-by the prefabs--oh how soon you forget--anyway, so I found my way around to Woodrow and there it stood BTW as I was discussing my days at Booker T. with my son I heard a loud noise and as I turned to the noise my homeroom came crashing down in my face. tonofbricks I was totaly thrown for a loop. My homeroom was right off the hallway by the auditorium which was already down. The front of the school still stands but the halls that we once walked are a thing of the past. I have wonderful memories of the four years spent with wonderful diverse people.

No wonder you`re all mixed up. You got a white man`s 1st name, a Spanish man`s 2nd name and a black man`s 3rd name.
