I joined Classmates.com a few weeks ago so I could send out email announcements about btwhs.org being back online for BTW alumni.

What I've been doing is sending out emails to all those who filled out profiles - the theory being that those who did might be more inclined to register and participate here in these forums.

Classmates.com allows members to send out about 20 emails per day. So, I can get out that many in a 24-hour period.

I started sending emails to people I knew mostly in classes from '79 - 82'.

If ANYONE would like to help with contacting BTW alumni in classes before '75 and after '84 - the help would be most appreciated, not only by me but by the people who get contacted. : ) Also people in '82 - '83 with no profiles at Classmates.

If some people are up for sending out emails through Classmates.com, we could organize things so there wouldn't be overlaps.

Hi Dan - Thanks so much--this is an awesome website1!! I've been trying to contact members from classes of 1986 and forward and tell them about this site. I think this site will be so popular as there is no fee!!!

Also, even a non-member on Classmates.com can read and reply to ONE email sent to them So word should get out. I also noticed that I was at BTW with many of the younger siblings of those you listed , so I'll bet that pretty soon you'll have more than you can handle!!!

Missy Burton sent me this link and I am passing it along to every classmember I have in my email list! Hopefully, we can get some more people to come onboard-I have a few names and email addresses, and if they pass it on to others, the word should spread.
