Hello Class of 1976.

We were the first graduating class from the new BTW. I remember the media came to BTW and did a news story, they captured us on film during an event in the auditorium.

You are right about our class being the first to complete three full years through the Magnet program. I remember the media started the summer 1973. The newspaper gathered a few of us from the northside junior highs that had been accepted to BTW and took a picture of us and did an article.

It was quite exciting to be part of the beginning of such a program.

Hello fellow Hornets. I currently reside in Tulsa, and very active in several organizations within the BTW family. Including President of Band Parents Organization, 2nd Vice President - PTSA, Member Alumni Association. Most recently I have written my latest book with a co-author, entitled Separated at Birth
