I admit it, I have become addicted to this web site -- my kids say they are going to start rationing my computer time!
I was thinking about the metal tennis rackets we used in PE class. I remember hitting other classmates more often than I hit the tennis ball. Unfortunately, my sporting abilities haven't improved with age.
My family visited Tulsa last week for our spring vacation. We drove past Booker T. one afternoon -- what a shock to just see the little front section of our school building still standing! The new school looks wonderful, but it was disconcerting to see the old one gone. Will it be totally demolished?
We stopped by the Alberston's at Pine and Peoria for Hornet t-shirts (and shorts, and a knit hat) so if you are in the DC area and you see a family walking around in Booker T. outfits, you'll know you've found us!
I've just made my plans for the reunion. I'm actually coming in on the 2nd, because my sister, (who still lives in the house I grew up in in west Tulsa)has made reservations to go see the Drunkard on the 3rd. How's that for Tulsa nostalgia? (I never saw it growing up actually.) Jane Gibbons is coming along from California. Tony Greene! How the heck are you? Will you be there?

Amy - Good to see you're involved in the entertainment industry professionally; look forward to seeing you at the reunion.

Robin,
I must've misunderstood what was in the newspaper. They listed "sisters" but in fact I suppose those were Darryl, Keith & Guy's aunts...apologies, and prayers again to the Troupe family over their loss.
