In 1973 he allowed girls in the auto mechanics class. At that time, I don't believe any other TPS school would allow that.
As one of those girls, I will always be grateful to him. He never expected any less of us than he did of the guys,but he always treated us like ladies and demanded that our male classmates do so as well. (No cussing, guys!)
He was an awesome teacher.

I rember manzella Brown, He was a kind hearted TUFFY" he held his own and he Knew about cars" he taught a lot of men skills they still have today!...I never could get that motor to start! class of 1981
