Class reunion announcements and contact information can be added to the page by emailing BTW Class Reunion Announcements or by posting in the BTW Alumni Reunions in 2008 topic in the BTW Alumni Association Forums. btwhs.org BTW Alumni Newsletter: February, 2007 Hi Hornets, The theme of this newsletter: SERVICE As a BTW alum, you can give a lot of service to others with a little bit of effort and participation. The forums at btwhs.org are there, free of charge for all BTW alumni. There are no ad banners, and your email address is not blocked, as happens with Classmates.com. As of February 2007, btwhs.org has over 900 members. The site is growing and being refined all the time. We 're asking that you make one, just one, contribution to btwhs.org in 2007. Take your pick: 1. Email an old BTW friend who may not have heard of btwhs.org and ask them to sign up in the forums. 2. Make a post in the forums at btwhs.org. Contribute to the content pool there. Post in a topic or make a new one. 3. Post pictures! Hornets from all over the world visit btwhs.org and everyone loves to see pictures. Past, present, reunions, silly stuff, your kids... Videos: if anyone has any Hornet related video, please upload it to a video-sharing website like YouTube.com or LiveVideo.com and then send us a link, or provide a link in the forums. ------------------- If you haven't been to btwhs.org recently, we've added some updates, including videos served from the home page. The current BTW school has started a website for the Athletic Dept. Info and links are on the home page. The site is also now accepting information for alumni reunions in 2007. See the Reunions page for submission information. A new contact page is under construction, and will include officers of the BTW Alumni Association. As btwhs.org grows, it could use help from graphic artists, web programmers, school historians. If there's something you'd like to see on the site or in the forums, please start a topic in the BTWAA forums. For many of you, your years at BTW are a distant memory. But there are alumni out there today who'd like to hear from you, get a little update on how you've been, or perhaps contact an alum who you might know their whereabouts. The idea behind btwhs.org is that "active" participation can be as easy as making one post in the forums every year. I, as the webmaster for the site, do all the coding work for the site. I'd say on average I spend less than an hour or two every month to maintain the site. And there are some months that go by that I put in no time at all. The idea here is that a little goes a long way. So, maybe not today, or even this month. But some time in 2007, do a li'l something for btwhs.org and all BTW alumni. The site allows for alumni to contact each other, and keep up with what's going on. Even if you visit the site for ten minutes every year, any small contribution you make will make the site better for all BTW alumni. Good health and happiness to you in 2007.

April 5, 2006: 2006 Reunion Information! As we are given information on class reunions in 2006 it is being added to the Class Reunion Information page on this site. As of April '06 btwhs.org has 770 members. NEWS January 2006: btwhs.org is now partnered with BTW National Alumni Association, Inc. making btwhs.org the only offically recognized website for the BTW Alumni Association. We're very excited, as this gives a central place for communication for all BTW alumni. Stay tuned as this will be resulting in many upcoming developments! The website bills are paid for 2006! btwhs.org recently received a check for $500 from BTWNAA, Inc to cover the costs of webhosting for this website and the forums for the entire year of 2006. As of Jan '06 btwhs.org is 725 members strong and growing. In 2005 btwhs.org also became the alumni site recognized and linked from the current BTW High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. btwhs.org BTW Alumni Newsletter April 2005 Hi Hornets! btwhs.org is now 600 members strong! Stop by the free forums at btwhs.org and say hello, post about your favorite teachers and classes. We also have free image uploads. Let's see some pics, peeps! Please let other Hornets know about btwhs.org! April 15, 2005: 2005 Reunion Information! The Class Reunion Information page has been updated and to provide listings for reunions in 2005. If anyone has any information on any classes having reunions in 2005, please email BTW Class Reunion Announcements. October 21, 2004 btwhs.org October 2004 Newsletter Hi BTW Alumni, Hope everyone's doing well going into the Fall of 2004! The btwhs.org website has now been running in its new incarnation since September of 2003. Things are running smoothly and we now have 555 members and adding more all the time. July 20, 2004: Jeanne Meldahl, class of '79, has put together a BTW Restrospect Video of the recently-held Class of '79 25th-Year Reunion. Click here to download and view the 11MB QuickTime movie file. This is well produced, and definitely worth checking out for any Hornet! April 2, 2004: One month ago we sent out the March 2004 Newsletter asking members to invite other BTW alumni to register at btwhs.org. On March 2nd, btwhs.org had 338 members. There are currently 405 registered members. An increase of 67 members in one month! Go Hornets! March 12, 2004: We've got a new interface in the forums at btwhs.org. Use My Space to customize your interface for the forums, check for Private Messages, and edit your Profile (including Avatar and Signature). Newsletter for btwhs.org March 2004 Hi BTW Alumni, The btwhs.org website was resurrected and put back online just a few months ago in September of 2003. In that short time the forums at btwhs.org have had 338 members register. In March 2004 we're going to have a registration drive and ask that each registered member at btwhs.org contact one of their alum friends and ask them to register. And ask that one friend to contact a friend and have them register - and so on. The purpose of btwhs.org is to provide a central place on the internet to allow all BTW alumni a place to contact each other. The more people we have registered, the more people can be contacted by other alumni who may wish to locate a friend or classmate. BTWAA / btwhs.org
